Ouzoud breathtaking waterfalls, the highest and most beautiful in Morocco, are frequently dominated by rainbows. They are situated in a rural, green wadi or valley of red sandstone that resembles an oasis and is lined with olive, almond, fig, and other carob trees. A dozen small traditional oil mills are still in operation there. The waterfalls are approximately 110 meters high, three stories high, on a picturesque geological site of the Tissakht wadi, at an elevation of 1,060 meters in the Atlas massif, in the central High Atlas, Morocco. Situated 150 kilometers northeast of Marrakech, 120 km from Beni Mellal, and 15 km from Azilal, this vast location is a popular tourist destination in Morocco.
